Q. How do I create a record? A. Tap the "+" button on the home screen. You can create records in three ways: text input, voice recording, or photo capture (OCR).
Q. AI summarization is not available. A. AI summarization requires an Apple Intelligence compatible device (iPhone 15 Pro or later, all iPhone 16/17 models, iOS 26 or later). This feature is not available on unsupported devices.
Q. How do I play back my records as audio? A. Tap a record to open the detail view, then press the play button. To play multiple records in sequence, use the playlist feature.
Q. Is my data safe? A. Yes. All processing — including AI summarization, OCR, speech recognition, and text-to-speech — happens entirely on your device and is never sent to the app provider's servers. If iCloud sync is enabled, your data is stored in Apple CloudKit's private database, accessible only by you.
Q. Can I sync data across multiple devices? A. Yes. Enable iCloud sync to share data across devices with the same Apple ID. Synced data is stored in Apple CloudKit's private database, accessible only by you.
Q. Can I turn off iCloud sync? A. Yes. Go to iOS Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Mimicopi to turn it off at any time. When off, data is stored only on your device.
Q. Is the app free to use? A. Yes. Core features are free. If you need more records or playlists, consider upgrading to a paid plan.
Q. How do I cancel my subscription? A. Go to iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions to cancel.
Q. Audio is not playing. A. Make sure your device volume is turned up and Silent Mode is off.
